When I started Working at The Testing site with Chris I knew that I had met This Generations Cousteau.I have been a PADI MSDT for going on 10 years now.
I had been paralized from the waiste down in a covert mission accident in 1985 the Orthopedic Surgeon told Me That I would walk again "If I did not get in a Wheel Chair and stayed in Rehabilitation using water(non weght bearing excersice) so after a year and a half I regained Movement. It took about five and a half years for My nerves to grow down to My feet. I also knew that if I did not stay in water everything would work backwards and I would atrophy, I always loved The Ocean and decided to go to PRO-DIVE International in 1998 and became an Instructor then MSDT and then Their Third Tier Resort Operation Specialist. If Anyone has Heard of PADI'S Seal Team well that was a deal with Cronin that I made. I Started Seal Team Scuba and it is about to convert to a non profit org to give back to The Navy SEAL'S that have been Injured in Conbat . The Families of These Great Men Deserve it and I can personally say tht I know How hard Rehab is but am living proof that it can be done.
It Will be done With Rapid Diver Equipment and The Kids will have a blast.
I am a member of Thousand Trails RV Parks and Resorts of Distinction And Resort Parks International and I wont bore You with the other Five Systems.
I will start at Peak Season when The SnowBirds come Down to Florida.
I use to do it with The normal Recreational Equipment but as You Know You can only take so much on Your Trips and normal Equipment is to Bulky especially 80's.
Pulling the system out of My Backpack dawning it on and getting in the water can be done without anyone really noticeing until I am already at the drain of the pool.
The people that I have met so far are Fire Department ,Police Department, Military, and a lot of Kids.
I have met UDT's from way before The SEAL's came to be. They all agree that if They had The Rapid Diver Equipment that their lives would have been much safer and that they would not have lost some of their Brothers.
Their is nothing more that I can say about How Great this System is.
I will be in a 40'foot Toyhauler and will be from one Resort to the other for six months straight.
Its Called Season For The Snow Birds.
I am happy to say that I can reach My same Objective With The System Myself without The Cumbersome Recreational gear and still acheive My Rehabilitation and Have more Fun thanever Knowing that I am giving back to The Elite Units that Keep Us Safe and that We Owe are Lives To. They Deserve More than Just a Salute. I hope thatI can make a change in the hopes of the injured SEAL's that are Paralized and just tell them the same thing "Don't Get In A Wheel Chair and thats an order from someone that was on a Mission that led to their same outcome". As long as it takes work Your Muscles manualy by hand and keep them moving. Your nerves Grow back 1mm a day. So as soon as You can get in a pool and can kick just a little get a Rapid Diver System and have fun with Your Rehabilitation. Soon You can be in The Ocean and catch a few bugs and feed The Family again.
I use to think that I would never walk again. But I followed direct orders and I have a life. Meeting The Master changed My Life even More. I soon will be 50 years old and The ease of The Rapid Diver System and with controlled Breathing I was able to do Tours in the springs with people with 80's on...ask The Master Himself..........HoooooooRaaaaaaa
