Mounting Shears and Z-knifes
"Daisy Chain Clips" work great for mounting cutting tools directly to the BCD portion of the Rapid Diver. Dive Rite makes titanium coated shears and sheath combo with Daisy Chain Clips which mount conveniently and securely to the front of the BCD. The Cold water Z-knife does the same.

Great tip!
Great tip Bill...I didn't even know that this type of attachement existed unitil you mentioned it. Post some pictures of your configuration when you get a chance.
Note: I have been interested in the "bungee cord" method of attachments since Robert P. (Blub Blub) mentioned it as a way to secure the pressure gauge.
There are so many places to employ a bungee cord "anchor system" to lights, knives, pressure gauge, and shears. Over the past few months I found a Mil Spec bungee cord that I think will work great. My goal is to get a bungee cord that is durable, small profile, and can double its static length. The positioning of the cord is crititical because the ideal method is to have the excess cord concealed (so it doesn't pose an entanglement hazard) might even employ a break away coupler... More to come...stay posted!
